After obtaining the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Diab received specialized advanced training in the treatment of many gastrointestinal diseases using the endoscopic techniques.

Such endoscopic techmiques include:

• Treatment of bile duct obstruction secondary to stones or tumors;
• Pancreatic cancer treatment endoscopically;
• Control of gastrointestinal bleeding;
• Endoscopic treatment of heartburn, (by endoscopic injection of polymer), which has replaced the chronic use of pills or surgery for this illness.
